The Buncombe County America 250 NC Committee encourages the community to lead the celebration by creating and participating in local events throughout the county. In addition to the initiatives featured on our Projects and Community Initiatives page, we invite individuals and organizations to find their own ways to commemorate the 250th. We intend to make the DNCR North Carolina 250 initiatives accessible to Buncombe County residents, Buncombe 250 will continue its role as a connector to the official programing and program resourced provided by the state https://www.america250.nc.gov .
